Jerry L. Style, EA, CFP®, CDFA, and Robert R. Sick, CPA/PFS, CFP® are the founding members and principals of Freedom Financial Services, LLC and Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC, both established in October 1999.
What is your primary product or service?
Freedom Tax & Financial Services offers comprehensive tax, accounting and financial services for over 1000 individual and business clients.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jerry L. Style, CFP®, EA, CDFA is a founding member and principal of Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC and Freedom Financial Services, LLC.
Prior to founding Freedom Tax & Financial Services, Jerry owned his own accounting and financial services firm, Style Associates, Ltd., for almost 20 years. Before establishing his own professional practice, Jerry worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 7 years.
Jerry received a B.B.A. in Public Accounting at Hofstra University. He is an enrolled Agent, certified to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, a Certified Financial Planner, as well as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Jerry holds series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses and holds a New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license.

Robert R. Sick, CPA/PFS, CFP® is also a founding member and principal of Freedom Tax & Business Services, LLC and Freedom Financial Services, LLC. Prior to merging his practice with with Jerry, Bob owned his own tax and accounting business for 14 years. Before that, he worked for CPA firms on Long Island and served as Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer for Palm Beach Federal Savings Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Bob has served as treasurer of the Miller Place Fire District since 1990 and has taught accounting and business courses at both Dowling College and Suffolk Community College.
Bob received a B.B.A. in Public Accounting and an M.B.A. in Management Science from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist, as well as a Certified Financial Planner. He holds series 63, 6 and 7 securities licenses as well as New York State Health, Life and Accident Insurance license.
