Comfort Keepers provides Caregivers
Comfort Keepers provides in-home care that makes a difference in the lives of seniors and other adults. Our Caregivers go through extensive background checks and a careful screening process. Those selected to join our Comfort Keeper family are trained and bonded. Each caregiver receives continuing education, and is covered by Workers' Compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families. Each pairing of Caregiver with a client is based on the client as individual with individual needs in order to ensure the best possible service.
General care services include conversation and companionship, meal preparation, shopping, light cleaning, laundry, and incidental transportation among others.

Comforting Solutions for In-Home Care: Affordable, non-medical support services for older people, individuals recovering from illness or injuries, as well as respite care for caregivers or new parents.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am Marketing Director for our Comfort Keepers office in Riverhead, NY. My interest stems from the solution-solving aspects of my education and prior careers. From that base I have worked extensively with specific seniors, gaining first hand insights. I added to these experiences the execellent inter-disciplinary education required to become a Certified Senior Advisor, member, The Society of Certified Senior Advisors. The underlying code of ethics associated with thie certificaqtion, demands I always deliver the best possible information to Seniors and those who care for them.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Comfort Keepers is a franchised business. Our services expand naturally as we reach more clients and train more care givers.

Long Island Expressway (495) east to the end, exit 73. This puts you on route 58 east. Continue (there is a traffic circle to go through) until you see the sign that says 58 'now becomes' Rte 25. This is "Main Rd" and our office is the first office building on the right--31 Main Rd. Suite 9 is on the second floor.
Which areas do you service?
Our Riverhead office of Comfort Keepers services the East End of Long Island. We provide care-givers for most of Suffolk County, NY, --east of Huntington and Bablyon townshipsi.e, we service Suffolk County from Smithtown and Islip Townships in the west, through all of the East End, through wine country to Orient Point on the North Fork, and through the Hamptons to Montauk on the South Fork.

What are your hours of operation?
Information or referrals can be made by email at any time of day or night. Physical office hours are typically 8:30am to 5:00pm, but clinets and caregivers can have the comfort of access to management whenever needed.
