How long have you been in business?
Our family business has been around for over 40 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We buy antiques, collectibles, gold, silver and costume jewelry.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Gary Zimmerman has a bachelor of fine arts degree from Hunter College. He went from painting his own works of art to buying and selling antique works of art. He then went on to buy and sell many types of antiques.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a one stop shop. Unlike many companies who only want to buy high end items, we do much more. We buy gold, silver, bronzes, oil paintings and expensive antiques. However, we also buy all types of costume jewelry and collectibles such as Hummels and Royal Doultons. We always pay in cash.
Which areas do you service?
We service Queens, Nassau County, Suffolk County and Manhattan.
What are your hours of operation?
We do house calls 7 days a week.
